About UsLifting Equipment Training was originally established to provide technical training to service engineers of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms. The technical principles of this type of machinery can be transferred to other types of lifting equipment. The training we provide focuses on three main areas - safety, engineering and legislation. All too often in the lifting industry, the areas coincide and many employers as well as employees are unaware of their responsibilities or need for technical competence. EngineeringToday’s lifting equipment is an intricate combination of hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems, many of which have an important part to play in the safety of the equipment. The diverse environments in which the equipment is used also have a significant impact on their deterioration. Our technical courses are aimed at engineers and technicians who service and maintain these items of equipment.LegislationThere is a bewildering amount of health and safety legislation in place these days. Added to this, the legal requirements are often misinterpreted, updated or replaced by new regulations. Lifting Equipment Training keeps up to date with impending legislation and its training courses are continually updated to reflect advances in the state of the art.All of our course trainers are professional instructors who have extensive experience within the lifting industry in the fields of safety, engineering and legislation.
