Engineering personnel, technicians & supervisors who service and maintain MEWPs. Candidates will normally have had at least a year of experience working on MEWPs. However, where their background has been with similar or associated plant equipment, this is also considered. |
| What does it involve? |
The course explains the requirements of LOLER & Thorough Examinations with respect to MEWPs. Candidates experience and knowledge are assessed, leading to Competent Person certification being issued. The assessment takes into account the candidate’s technical qualifications, manufacturer’s and other technical training undertaken and ‘hands-on’ practical experience on the relevant types of equipment. |
